Rose Democratic mission:
The town of Rose Democratic party believes in upholding the constitutional rights of our citizens by providing opportunities for every resident to participate in, or be heard by, our local government. We will promote a safe, fair, and equal environment for our residents to participate in a Democratic government which respects the rights of every member of our community.
The Town of Rose is a small eastern township located midway between the Erie Canal and Lake Ontario, with Route 104 bisecting the area. We are currently undergoing a transition from an agriculturaly based economy to a "bedroom community" dotted with a few small manufacturing businesses. Many people have jobs in neighboring counties due to unemployment in wayne county.
Democratic committee meetings are held on a as needed basis at a convenient site.
The 2006 general electon had a resounding 82% Democratic turnout!
